Lexus originally planned to launch the new IS at 2020 New York Auto Auto Show.
When the show was canceled the Czarnowski Collective quickly responded by producing a virtual press event.
There was no set, no audience, no press, and no hype so we had to get creative. Fortunately, we had a great product with a great story. We just needed to figure out the logistics.
We decided to shoot the virtual press event at their headquarters in Plano, TX. The dynamic architecture of the facility became our backdrop. Utilizing the branded environment allowed us to find smart ways for executives to communicate the IS message to the online audience.
In addition to the IS launch the Czarnowski collective also produced virtual reveals for the 2021 Toyota Venza and Sienna. All of these events have been highly successful. The IS press event was covered by more than 100 media outlets and reached over 14 million consumers. The combined Venza and Sienna event was covered by more than 130 media outlets and reached over 30 million consumers.
We are happy to be part of this new era of virtual events. Digital communication is essential now more than ever, and we will continue to lead in this space when live events become commonplace again.
